An angel reached out and touched my heart.

His love wrapped me in his arms,

His warmth kept my soul aglow,

For many years there came no harm.

Till one day, I drifted from his grasp,

Sheltering, collapsing into myself.

I found nothing here; emptiness filled my eyes as they roamed my new surroundings.
